This catalogue was published in 1979 to coincide with the first large retrospective exhibition of Aaron Siskind's work to be held in Europe, Aaron Siskind: Photographs 1932-1978.
Siskind is one of the few acknowledged masters in the history of photography. This book includes an introduction by former co-editor of Creative Camera, writer, lecturer and photographer Peter Turner and showcases a range of Siskind's subject matter, such as structure, wall surface and the human figure.
