These ‘Waist Bags’ were produced exclusively for Johanna Unzueta’s solo exhibition Tools for Life at Modern Art Oxford. They have been made in collaboration with The New Denim Project, a sustainable textile initiative recycling denim in Guatemala to benefit communities there.

 

The bags, produced in a limited edition of 50 and exclusive to Modern Art Oxford, have been made using off-cuts from Unzueta’s ‘Garment for a day’ clothes, the 100% natural up-cycled fabric was specially commissioned by the artist.
